Gyms

The Sports Complex which is a public organization in Rabat has all the facilities for any type of indoor sports like badminton, basketball, football, handball, volleyball and also one can practice out door tennis and basketball with instructors.

One can find private gyms such as the Seminary Gym found in Rabat and one can play indoor games and have facilities to keep fit.

Pitches

The Xewkija Football Stadium is the largest football ground in Gozo and every weekend several matches of the Gozo Football Association are played.  This stadium is covered by turf. 

There is also a ground of artificial turf in Sannat and another one in Ta' Kerċem in which everyone can play in them.  Around Gozo there is at least one ground in every town but are not covered by turf.

Horse Racing

In Xewkija there is the only track in Gozo of 1 kilometer for horse races; made in this track nearly every Saturdays and Sundays.

Horse Riding

On the way to Marsalforn, one can visit a wrench and if you are adventurous enough you can hire a horse and have a ride.  Paths in Gozitan countryside are fantastic and around the hill 'Tas-Salvatur' is ideal for horse riding.

Sailing

Even during the middle of winter sailing in Gozo is sheer fun. Air and sea temperatures do not dip below the 15-degree mark. With a 4-ml wetsuit you are pretty comfortable.

Diving

Gozo offers some of the best diving sites, not only in the Maltese Islands, but to some extent even in the world. The island's coast displays a variety of bays, coves and sea inlets with natural caves of all shapes and sizes.  Water visibility is most often 40 metres and sea temperatures rarely go lower than 16 degrees Celsius.

Night Life

Those who enjoy the Night Life, can go to several pubs, bars and discos all around Malta and Gozo.

Bars and Pubs

In Xlendi, one can go to Tenona Bar or Sunshine Bar.

In Marsalforn, there are the Dive Bar and the Glass Box.

The best two pubs in Rabat known by teens are Red Star, Ritz and Flamingo.

Discos

The best discos in Gozo are in Rabat which are the Ku Club and XS Club.

In Xlendi, Paradiso and La Grotta are two cool discos and La Grotta is only open in Summer because it is an open disco.

Rook is the only disco in Marsalforn but it is placed in the best part of Marsalforn which makes it the unique disco beside the sea.
